10 Inch Cut-Away Cultivation Disc

Cut-away discs shallowly cultivate soil close to the plant row without pushing soil into the row. The tool is most effective with direct seeded or young seedlings and will help protect the crop rows and break up compacted soil. It is typically used with direct seeded crops such as beets, carrots, lettuce, garlic, and onions.

When used in combination with other tools such as finger weeders or A-blades, cutaway discs can help prevent chunks of soil from getting pushed into the crop row or dislodging plants in the row.
