Thermoperfo mounting base

The Terrateck hole burner is a specialized thermal tool designed for market gardeners and horticulturists to quickly and cleanly burn planting holes into plastic or woven mulch. By mounting custom-sized heating cups onto a thermal weeding lance, it melts precise holes into the film while simultaneously heat-sealing the edges to prevent the material from fraying or tearing. Key Features & Highlights: • Clean, Heat-Sealed Cuts: Melts through standard plastic, biodegradable, or woven mulches of various thicknesses, leaving a neat hole while heat-bonding the edges to stop unraveling. • Interchangeable Cups: Compatible with a variety of interchangeable round or square dies/cups (sold separately) to match exact crop size and planting requirements. • Weather-Independent Operation: Performs reliably across different weather conditions, allowing for efficient field preparation regardless of wind or dampness. • Dual-Purpose Design: Built from a convertible thermal weed torch, meaning it can transition between a standard localized weed burner and a mulch perforator. • Ergonomic Portability: Operates via standard gas cylinders (such as portable canisters or backpack-mounted bottles) to maximize user comfort and mobility in rows.
