Clay Bottom Farm is a no-till operation located in Goshen, Indiana and all of the food produced here sells within a mile and a half of the farm. Ben uses the E-Ox to clean weeds from pathways, flip beds after terminating a crop and mechanically broad fork the soil. It replaced the manual wheel hoe for their farm and in some cases limited the need to use their BCS tiller.

The upfront cost of the Tilmor Tractor is certainly greater than buying some other machines out there but for Ben it’s also a longer-term solution for cultivation on his farm. Berge Ferjulian of Ferjulian's farm is a tinkerer. With the purchase of a 520 tractor, he made some modifications and additions of his own. The fabrication process includes laser cutting raw materials and using a press break for necessary bends to prepare the materials for welding. Welding entails hand and robot welding to ensure build quality and longevity. Once materials are welded the front frame begins to take shape and then moves to paint. In the paint process we use powder coat for a high quality finish with added durability. Finally, the manufacturing process shown in this video ends with assembly where the different parts are assembled into a final product.
