Par de ruedas arañas de 10" para motocultor

The Spyder has been an important cultivation tool for growers since it was designed, manufactured and sold by the Bezzerides Brothers Inc. located in Orosi, California. Because the Bezzerides Brothers no longer produce the Spyder, Tilmor has received permission to manufacture and sell this important tool once again. Features: - Run at slow speeds to pull soil and weeds away from the row and fracture close to the row in small crops. - Run at slow speeds or higher speeds straight to fracture close to the row and act as rolling shield to guard young crops. - Great option to use when pulled behind horse drawn equipment for hilling as they will work at slower speeds unlike a sweep that must be run faster. - In more mature crops they can be angled in to throw soil into the row and fracture soil in the row to bury larger weeds and cover the base of larger crops to stimulate new root growth and a deeper aerobic zone in your fields. - At any stage they can be run in tandem with sweeps, hoes, or points to fracture and tumble the soil and create a beautiful non-slabbed soil structure behind your cultivator pass. - The unique design allows for operation in heavier soil without slabbing and/or crusting that results from a hilling disk or other more conventional tools. - Excellent tools to pair with finger weeders in heavier soil to fracture ahead of the fingers then the fingers can flick weeds out of the soil in the row. - Good to pair with torsion weeders to get right into the row when weeding young crops. Rebuild and weed bed shoulders when run at a high speed and angled in. Operating Instructions: Install Spyders on each side of the plant row with teeth toward the plants and pointing downward at the rear. When the curved teeth point "up" at the rear, their action is more severe. They should operate approximately at a forty five degree angle to the row at desired depth.

In this video, Lydell walks through the implement adjustment with Dean from Cabbage Throw Farm. Watch as they position the angle of the spyder, gauge wheel depth, and torsion weeder spacing to achieve the desired hilling and cultivation action.

Mechanical cultivation is boosting efficiency on this farm in Mexico. By using the Power Ox, the farmer is able to limit the amount of hand weeding needed in the broccoli crop. The two-wheel tractor pulls spyders and finger weeders to eliminate between row and in-row weeds. The spyders work at hilling the crop row. preserving the bed shoulder, while the finger weeders flick out weeds around the plant. Watch to see how this tool can reduce labor and save you time! Empowering farmers to grow healthy food for their communities by being the best place for them to discover equipment and information they need in every season.

This Torsion Weeder and Spyder combination can be used to throw dirt toward or away from the crop row, while also working to eliminate small in-row weeds. Independently, spyders act similar to hiller discs and are a good hilling tool for crops such as potatoes, carrots, etc.

Conquer weeds and increase production with the Power Ox. Designed for planting, cultivation, and light hilling, the Power Ox is a great compliment for growers that already have primary tillage machines. One person can switch between implements by removing a single pin with no need for tools. Spotlight Features: - Throttle Control on Handle - Honda GX120 Engine - Robust Drive System - 13.5" Ground Clearance - Three width settings on main frame - See image below - Quick handle height adjustment - 4" Wide Bar Tires Small growers face unique challenges and often must rely on older equipment that was developed many years ago for mechanized cultivation. This often means farmers are forced to rely on parts that are obsolete, poorly constructed or difficult to find. Our goal is to produce a variety of implements for planting, cultivation, harvest, post-harvest, and more. These implements will be built to last and fully supported by Tilmor, making it easy to find and purchase the equipment you need to maintain your farm. A key to reducing weed pressure is to cultivate at the white thread stage. You may not see the weeds until you look closely because they have not yet produced two to three leaves. The white thread stage is the best window to ensure weed elimination. The weed roots aren’t well established so it requires less effort to kill the weeds. Shallow cultivation is successful, which minimizes soil structure damage and does not pull up more weed seeds.
