Terrateck offers two different styles of Baby Leaf / Greens Harvesters; an electric self propelled version and a manually pushed version powered by a drill. The electric version was designed for the daily harvesting of young shoot and aromatic plant crops and will allow you to harvest cut salads, baby greens, purslane, spinach, etc. The blade and the beaters are adjustable according to the height of vegetation, height of board and desired cutting height. A 60 meter board can be harvested in 12 minutes (estimated time). The drill version is powered by a standard drill/driver, the machine operates the cutter bar, reel, and collection belt — keeping costs down while ensuring dependable performance. A recommended model, such as the DEWALT DCD996P2-QW 3-speed drill, delivers the optimum 1,300 rpm speed for smooth operation. Despite its compact design, this harvester is highly adaptable. Adjustable cutting height, reel, and belt settings allow it to be tailored to different crops and stages of growth. Mounted on a 4-wheel chassis, it provides uniform cutting and ergonomic handling, making it easy to operate in the field.

The Terrateck Baby Leaf Harvester is a walk-behind, full bed harvester designed for fast, efficient, and reliable harvesting of young shoots, baby greens, and aromatic herbs. With its adjustable blade, reel, and chassis height, the harvester adapts to different bed configurations and crop types, ensuring a clean and consistent cut every time. Powered by a 24V electric drive with two 12V batteries, it provides quiet, low-maintenance performance for daily use. Typical runtime for greens is 5-6 hours, for heavy cutting or more woody material 4-5 hours. A single operator can harvest a 60-meter bed in as little as 12 minutes, dramatically reducing labor costs and harvest time compared to manual methods. Perfect for harvesting cut salads, baby greens, purslane, spinach, etc. Empowering farmers to grow healthy food for their communities by being the best place for them to discover equipment and information they need in every season.
