Kurt Bench of Shared Legacy Farms stalebedding with a version of the new Tilmor Spyder Basket Weeder! This system works the top 2 inches of soil and agitates all sides of the raised bed. The spyder basket with tines and discs helps maintain the shape of the bed while uprooting weeds on all surfaces. This allows for a weed free and uniform seed bed before planting. The primary benefit of using spyders in place of wire baskets is that they are better suited for harder soil types or crusted soils.
